Congratulations to the nine 2014 Shaw Rocket Prize finalists! With three finalists in each category, our National Kids Jury will choose who will be the prestigious 10th year winners in the Preschool (0-5 years), Children (6-12 years), and Youth (13-17 years) & Family categories. Kids start voting on October 15, 2014, and the winners will be announced on November 25, 2014.

About the Prize Established in 2004, the Shaw Rocket Prize is a $75,000 award, split into three $25,000 prizes for the best independent Canadian kids' programs in three categories as selected by an international jury and kids from across Canada. As of 2013, the Shaw Rocket Fund has awarded $475,000 in prize money. Previous winners are Degrassi: The Next Generation, Being Ian, Make Some Noise, Life with Derek, Sticks and Stones, Dino Dan, Wingin’ It, My Babysitter's a Vampire, Daniel Tiger’s Neighbourhood, The Next Step, and The Phantoms.
