Liliana Vogt
Vice President Development
Liliana Vogt oversees and guides the company's creative development activities from concept through to production-ready stage. With extensive experience in the broadcasting and television production industry, Vogt is a seasoned Creative Executive with a prominent background in international distribution, acquisitions and content development.
Prior to joining 9 Story, Vogt was co-Executive Producer of the CBC youth animation comedy series Chilly Beach and served as Supervising Executive of the flash animation series Maple Shorts (CBC) and The Very Good Adventures Of Yam Roll In Happy Kingdom for the CBC and The Cartoon Network.
Previously, Vogt was Vice President of Acquisitions and Co-Productions at Salter Street Films (Bowling for Columbine, This Hour has 22 Minutes) where she built the acquisitions division and successfully negotiated strategic alliances with leading co-production partners and distributors of proprietary and 3rd party programming.
Prior to Salter, Vogt was Vice President of Sales and Co-Productions at Sullivan Entertainment (Anne of Green Gables, Road to Avonlea) and was Director of International Sales at Norstar Entertainment (The Fourth Angel, Blackheart).
Earlier in her career, Vogt worked in television where she held various progressive positions in programming and international distribution at CFMT-TV Channel 47 and at Citytv, where she remained for 11 years and played an integral role in the set-up and launch of ChumCity International, the former development and distribution arm of CHUM Television (now CTV Limited).
Vogt holds a B.A in Political Science from the University of Toronto and is a graduate of the Ryerson University School of Journalism program.
