9 STORY TO INTRODUCE FIRST COMPLETED EPISODES OF BEST ED TO MIPTV BROADCASTERS
First Five (22 min) Installments of the "Oddest" Best Friends Available for Screening
Toronto, March 2008
Canada's 9 Story Entertainment will present this year's MIPTV delegates with a first look at new completed episodes (10 x 11 min/5 x 22 min.) its animated comedy Best Ed.
Aimed at 6-11 year olds, Best Ed (52 x 11 min.) is a 2D digital animation series featuring the unlikely friendship of the always helpful Ed, a dog, and his squirrel pal Buddy. The "odd couple for kids" aren't just friends-- they're best friends.
A 9 Story original production for TELETOON Canada, the series debut is scheduled for September 2008. Best Ed has been pre-sold to Cartoon Network Europe and the Middle East and ABC (Australia). A promo of the series was introduced at MIPCOM Junior 2006.
