9 Story brings Naked wildlife to Cannes
Jenn Kuzmyk, C21 Media - April 11, 2007
Next week at MipTV, Canada's 9 Story Entertainment (Skyland, Peep & the Big Wide World) will be on the hunt for presales for three new proprietary animated properties, headlined by project that follows a bunch of Almost Naked Animals.
Almost Naked Animals, developed as a format for TV, web and mobile exploitation, is a comedy series for six- to 11-year-olds, based on the website of the same name. It features a scantily clad cast of cheeky characters led by a hospitality-challenged dog named Howie who runs the Hot Hot Hot Sands Resort.
Bash Boys, meanwhile, is an action/comedy series for kids 8-12, set in the future where democracy is on the brink of extinction courtesy of evil genius Zackary Lomax. Dr TJ Bash is the only one who can save what is left of the world, but his plan hinges on sending his own 16 year-old son back in time.
The third new show, SuperEwe, is an animated comedy series for the 6-11 set that takes off when an awkward teenage sheep is accidentally endowed with super powers, turning her into the cool, confident SuperEwe.
